Sunday June 15th was our 1 year anniversary of moving (officially) to Savannah, GA. It is a beautiful city (rated one of the top 10 in America) and there is a LOT to do. When we found out that we were moving to Savannah, everyone instantly gave us one of two comments: 1.) We’ve been there and love it. We’re coming to visit. Or 2.) We’ve never been, but we’d love to, so we’re coming to visit. Instantly I was in love with getting to host friends in our new hometown. I explained to my husband that I had never lived anywhere people wanted to go. He understood what it was like completely—he had grown up in Charleston, SC, which gets the same comments from people.
Instantly there were plenty of things to DO, but I was at a loss as to where to start, as I had never had (the classic definition of) entertainment choices in a place where I lived. So this is the intro that will be followed by a three-part series on Family Fun in Savannah, GA. This will prove to be a challenge, as it is a town more for young couples, singles, or retirees. However, I will give you recommendations. The next installment (Part 1) will be how to spend a LOT of money in this town and have a good time. Part 2 will be how to have fun by spending some money, but saving some in the meantime. Part 3 will be the completely frugal means to have a good time while exploring this awesome city.
I hope you enjoy!

Oh, I will really enjoy this series! Great idea.
You have some questions/comments under my "Lady & Sons" post, by the way. I cannot believe the officials didn't recognize Paula either. Her face is on billboards and buses all over Savannah! Too funny.
